Driving standards

DRIVER STANDARDS

You are expected to abide by the Highway Code at all times. If appropriate, you should also have a full working knowledge of the EU Regulations surrounding the use of tachographs and the Road Transport Working Regulations.

Your knowledge and skills will have been assessed using the FTA’s stringent tachograph and RTD assessment and any areas of improvement will have been discussed with you. If you have any questions on anything to do with the law, please ask us. We are here to help. We do not want to risk your licence by you not being sure of something.

You are reminded that when on assignment you are directly responsible to the client for whom you are working. The client, in turn, is directly responsible for you and the duties you are to carry out.

All accidents, irregularities and problems must be reported to the traffic office of the company you are on assignment to IMMEDIATELY and then to your HR GO branch as soon as soon as it is safe to do so.
