We will give you as much information as possible by text message. However as an agency driver, you must understand that changes and cancellations are likely and we ask you to be flexible in this respect. We don’t want you to be out of work but this is out of our control.
Please make sure you always have your driving licence, your digicard and CPC card (if applicable) with you at all times. Be punctual and smart in appearance and always be courteous. We understand transport can sometimes be stressful but rudeness will not be tolerated. You only get one chance to make a first impression. If you have any complaints about the work we offer you, please do NOT take it up with our clients, talk to us.
You have a legal responsibility to undertake vehicle checks BEFORE and AFTER your shift and any defects must be reported so that you don’t take the blame. Within this Handbook there is a Daily Checklist for you to follow but some of our clients will have their own versions that you must use. You must also remember that 15 minutes is allowed for these checks and must be recorded on your digicard as ‘other work’. This is a legal requirement and if not done, will lead to a serious infringement.
