Benefits & Perks

The Hiring Journey

Our hiring journey is designed to provide every candidate with a clear, supportive, and engaging experience from start to finish. Each stage helps us understand a candidate’s skills, values, and potential, while giving them a genuine insight into our culture and expectations. By following a structured and transparent process, we ensure fairness, consistency, and a positive experience for everyone involved.

Application

Candidates submit their application along with their CV and any supporting information. This stage focuses on gathering key details about experience, skills, and motivation. The goal is to ensure applicants meet the essential criteria before moving forward.

Shortlisting

The People Team and hiring managers review all applications against the job’s essential and desirable requirements. At this stage, the team identifies who should progress based on qualifications, experience, and alignment with the role’s needs. If successful the People Team will book a 10 minute call to discuss eligibility.

Initial 'Get to Know You'

A brief, informal conversation (usually 15–20 minutes). This stage allows the hiring manager to understand the candidate’s background, motivations, availability, and salary expectations. It also gives the candidate a chance to ask early questions and get a feel for the company.

Face to Face Interview

A structured competency and values-based interview with 2 of our experienced managers. This is where the candidate demonstrates their capabilities through examples, discusses the role in more depth, and meets key team members. Practical assessments or work samples may be included, included a presentation.

Final ELT Meeting

A final-stage conversation with a member of the Executive Leadership Team. This focuses on cultural fit, alignment with company values, and long‑term potential. It also allows candidates to gain insight into the organisation’s strategic direction and leadership style.

Successful applicants

Once a candidate is successful at the final stage, we extend a verbal offer outlining the key details: role, salary, benefits, start date, and any conditions. This is followed by a written offer. This stage ensures the candidate fully understands the terms and has an opportunity to ask any final questions before accepting. Following this a contract will be issued along with being added to pre-board on our HR system HiBob

Feedback for everyone

All candidates, successful or not, receive clear, constructive feedback tailored to their performance in each stage. This ensures a positive experience, supports employer brand, and helps individuals understand strengths and areas for development.
