WHO IS AFFECTED BY THE ROAD TRAFFIC DIRECTIVE?

The rules apply to:

  • Drivers subject to the tachograph rules and Non-driving personnel carried in the vehicle, where the operation is required to comply with tachograph rules. You may not individually ‘opt out’ of any of the rules, which are in addition to, (not instead of) tachograph rules. unless with a Workforce Agreement regarding the night limit.
