HR GO Recruitment opens branch in Poland

HR GO Recruitment has expanded its operations with a new branch opening in Wroclaw, Poland.  The new team is based in the spacious offices that joint venture Eclipse, HR GO Group’s specialist IT business, established as its head office in Wroclaw last year.

Wroclaw is a growing hi-tech town with a population of more than 600,000 and a thriving IT industry.

The new business is partly a response to Brexit, aiming to to recruit UK-based Polish workers who wish to return home, as well as well-qualified people in Poland looking for high-quality roles in the UK.

Jack Parkinson, HR GO plc executive chairman, celebrated his birthday on March 1 by cutting the ceremonial red ribbon to formally open the Wroclaw campus.

“I’m very impressed by the new campus and pleased that we are at the heart of Wroclaw’s burgeoning high-tech district,” he said. “This really is Poland’s Silicon Valley.”

Roddy Barrow, Group Managing Director, said the expansion marked a new focus on opportunities in Europe and beyond. Its joint venture RHL is already operating in Sydney, Australia.

“We expect more sales growth from expanding our operations in Poland where we have opened a 120-seat office as a hedge to Brexit. We are looking at other countries where we can add value.”

Poland recruitment manager Dominik Kostecki said: “We are initially planning to start with three recruitment consultants and grow to a full size branch through 2019.

“With our knowledge, expertise and technology, we want to be perceived as a niche IT recruitment business that provides the best experience to candidates and clients.”

Wroclaw is home to shared service centres (SSC) operated by blue chip companies such as Nokia, Capgemini, Atos, HP, EY, BNY Mellon, Volvo, Santander, UBS and Credit Suisse.

“We are planning to support growing demand by recruiting the best talent,” Dominik added. “The IT industry is one of the fastest growing industries in Poland and last year grew by 6%. Salaries rose by 9% in 2018 beating year on year records. I’m confident we can offer something new and exciting to IT recruitment.”

 “With a growing market and more diverse technologies used by IT companies, there is a need for a personalised approach when talking to candidates and pro-active consulting with clients.

“In the coming months, i will be focused on building HR GO brand awareness, expanding the delivery team, candidates’ database and building a solid client network.”
