Mark Ward, a keen amateur cyclist and Director of our Liverpool branch of HR GO Recruitment is using the online website Strava to promote the HR GO brand and build his client base.
If you’re not clued up on Strava then it’s time to fill you in. Strava is a great tool for professional and amateur athletes to record and share their training progress, location, routes and times. The platform works through an app which is downloaded onto your smartphone and tracks your progress using GPS. After you record an activity, you can share it to your Strava feed so your friends and followers can give you kudos, leave comments and keep you motivated.
Cycling is the UK’s third most popular sport and Mark decided to start an HR GO Strava page because he knows that many of his clients are, like him, highly competitive (like cycling) and love staying physically fit. This is a new and interesting way to keep in touch with clients and Mark ultimately thinks this will lead to strong and longer-lasting relationships.
Mark is very enthusiastic about his fresh approach to promote client synergy and has reported that in his first week of starting the Strava webpage, he has 22 members and 2000 miles ridden in 3 countries!
Congratulations Mark, keep up the hard work!
