RECRUITMENT FIRM SHOWS CONFIDENCE IN DOVER BY OPENING NEW BRANCH
HR GO Recruitment has underlined its commitment to Dover by opening a new branch in the town.
The Mayor of Dover Cllr Sue Jones cut a blue silk ribbon on Monday July 23 to mark the official launch of the branch in Biggin Street.
She told staff and guests: “I’m delighted that a respected and successful high-profile firm like HR GO Recruitment has shown faith and confidence in the future of Dover by opening this new branch. They are very welcome.”
Cindy Hare, managing director, said: “We have every confidence in Dover and that’s why we are investing in the town and looking forward to an exciting future here.”
HR GO Recruitment is also serving clients and candidates in Folkestone from the Dover office and has set up a healthcare division to offer specialist services to the sector.
Guests included the Deputy Mayor of Dover Cllr Ian Palmer, HR GO plc chairman Jack Parkinson, and local businesses, including representatives from Bay Trust, Dover Truss, Canterbury Christchurch University, the University of Kent, Barclays and the Job Centre.
The move to Biggin Street follows the merger of CMS Employment Agency, previously in Market Square, with HR GO Recruitment.
It is now part of HR GO plc, a family-owned group founded in Dartford in 1957, with its head office in Ashford and operating across the UK and overseas, including Poland and Australia.
The Dover branch has a team of six led by manager Lynsey Smith.
Last year, HR GO celebrated its 60th anniversary with an Acts of Kindness campaign that raised £54,000, with half - £27,000 – donated to the Royal National Lifeboat Institution in Dover.
