HR GO flies high with new Luton branch

This new business finds quality people who conform to strict Department for Transport guidelines.

They undergo rigorous background and security checks for roles such as passenger and customer service agents, ramp agents, flight dispatchers, aircraft de-icers and many other roles.

The new branch consolidates HR GO’s involvement in aviation following its recent acquisition of Birmingham-based Airport Placements Limited.

Matt Masson, associate director, is heading the new branch. He has more than 10 years’ experience in the aviation sector, having previously run AVS Aviation Support Services in Luton. Recruitment consultants Ali Graham and Danny Hartford complete the team. More staff will be added as the business grows.

The new enterprise is a national approved supplier to leading ground handling agents and airlines. Matt and his team have a deep understanding of airports and the recruitment needs of aviation-related clients. The business is security audited to fully comply with all security procedures.

HR GO Luton will also supply on-site management and training support, and has the ability to get internal staff airside without delay. A 24-hour on-call service aims to fill shifts that need covering at short notice because of sickness or unexpected high demand.

Cindy Hare, managing director of HR GO Recruitment, said: “We aim to be the number one provider of specialist recruitment and support services to aviation by developing long-term relationships with our clients and major airports across the UK.

“But HR GO Luton is about more than aviation. We are broadening our services across many other commercial sectors which, in a challenging labour market, are seeking well-qualified, well-motivated and talented people.”

Jack Parkinson, HR GO plc chairman, added: “I see the opening of HR GO Luton as another milestone in the company’s proud history. We offer substantial expertise in aviation and other sectors, finding the right staff for every client.

‘My mother Betty founded the business in 1957 and we have a 60-year track record of success. I’m confident the team in Luton will continue our commitment to excellent service for our clients and candidates.”
