Welder Fabricator - Structural Steel

Location: Harlow, Essex

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: £35,100 pa (£15.00 p/hr, Overtime £22.50 p/hr)

Hours: Days, Mon-Fri. 7.00am - 5.00pm (45 hours)

We are currently seeking an experienced and skilled Welder Fabricator specialising in structural steel to join our team. The successful candidate will play a key role in fabricating and welding structural steel components, contributing to the creation of high-quality structures.

Responsibilities:

• Structural Fabrication: - Interpret and work from engineering drawings to fabricate structural steel components.
• Welding: - Perform welding tasks, ensuring the integrity and strength of welded joints in accordance with industry standards.
• Material Preparation: - Cut, shape, and prepare materials for fabrication using various tools and equipment.
• Quality Assurance: - Inspect completed work to ensure it meets quality standards and specifications.
• Safety Compliance: - Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines during all fabrication and welding activities.

Requirements:

• Experience: - Proven experience as a Welder Fabricator, with a focus on structural steel.
• Welding Skills: - Proficient in various welding techniques, including MIG, and ARC welding.
• Fabrication Skills: - Skilled in the fabrication of structural steel components.
• Material Knowledge: - Familiarity with different types of structural steel and their properties.
• Quality Focus: - Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.

Qualifications:

• Relevant vocational or trade qualification in welding or metal fabrication.
