Website Product Manager - Ashford

Our client is a well established, fast growing and successful company with a strong web presence. They are looking for a website product Manger to help manage their wide range of products on their websites.

Suitable applicants should possess a strong interest in IT, have Excel experience and knowledge in manipulating large quantities of data. The Website Administration team are responsible for growing the product offering, enhance current website content, and assist with the day to day running of the website.

The role

• Using CSV file data to upload new products and manage existing products on the website platform.
• Creating and managing data in Excel spreadsheets using formulas for efficiency.
• Use product information to write product titles, descriptions, and unique selling point bullet points with a strong focus on accuracy.
• Liaising with third parties (including manufacturers) to gain relevant pricing and product information and solve any problems that may arise.
• Adding new products to the company website including product description, product positioning, imagery, attachments, videos, etc.
• Updating the company websites existing product pricing and availability.
• Assessing that the company websites product information is populated correctly, accurate and in accordance with SEO best practises.
• Ensuring and assessing that new product offerings are loaded onto the company website
• Monitor the effectiveness of your work with Google analytics.

The idea candidate

• Must be experienced, competent and demonstrate data management and manipulation in Excel
• Excellent attention to detail and able to work with extreme accuracy
• Able to work on repetitive tasks, long term tasks or projects all day every day without losing focus
• Have a keen interest in IT and e-commerce
• Have product management experience
• A good understanding of spreadsheets for data creation
• Are self-motivated and proactive
• Can communicate well
• Comfortable managing and prioritising your own workload
• And work well on your own or in a team as needed

The right person for this role will be able to aid in managing a large array of products including pricing, product specifications and images. Working in bulk is key and you won't be put off by large spreadsheets.
