Job Description

Visitor Service Assistant

Our client requires a Visitor Services Assistant to work in the Forest of Dean, Coleford, Gloucestershire, GL16 8BA.

The role will involve working weekends, bank holidays and school holidays.

Your role involves working within a team to provide excellent customer service to members of the public visiting the forest, these visitors will be taken part in activities such as biking, horse riding and hiking.

You will be the first point of contact for queries regarding first aid, facilities and bookings of activities. Also, you will carry out trail and site inspections daily. Furthermore, you will be checking pay and display compliance in the car park. Other duties involve...

  • Handling small amounts of cash
  • Directing people to their activities/ through the forest
  • Inspecting toilets
  • Getting customers to fill out surveys

The role involves working approx 3 days a week, most likely Friday Saturday and Sunday, with other shifts being told to you in a good times notice.

The role is paying £9.33 an hour, 10am-4:30pm

Late April to end of September

First aid qualification desirable, should have driving licence.

Microsoft office and internet abilities.
