Location: Coleford, UK (Hybrid)
Working Hours: Full-time, 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday (Could be Negotiable)
Salary: £30,000 Annual Salary

About Our Client
HRGO is on the lookout for a highly organised and proactive HR Assistant to become a key member of our client's UK HR & Payroll team. This role presents a fantastic chance for an ambitious individual to advance their HR career while contributing to the smooth running of day-to-day manufacturing operations and enhancing employee experience.

Reporting Structure:
You will report to the HR Generalist and provide support to 4 Manufacturing sites across the UK.

Key Responsibilities of HR Assistant:

  • Oversee the recruitment and onboarding processes, including sourcing job advertisements, screening CVs, verifying right to work documentation, and preparing offers and contracts.
  • Assist managers with employee relations processes and necessary documentation.
  • Maintain accurate employee records within HR systems, including Success Factors, Skillsoft, and CV Warehouse.
  • Support various HR administrative tasks and reporting, including preparing contracts, letters, KPIs, newsletters, annual reviews, and training materials.
  • Address employee queries and provide first-line HR support.
  • Ensure adherence to company policies and UK employment legislation.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • Minimum of CIPD Level 3, with prior experience in an HR administrative or advisory role.
  • Strong understanding of the ACAS Code of Practice.
  • A year or more of experience in the manufacturing sector is preferred.
  • Familiarity with HR systems, particularly Success Factors, is a plus.
  • Basic knowledge of payroll processes is advantageous.
  • Experience with recruitment processes is desirable.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Committed to maintaining confidentiality and demonstrating a professional demeanor.

Working Location:

While we will consider applications from candidates across the UK, the ideal candidate will be located a commutable distance away from the Coleford area , with the expectation of being able to be on-site at least once a week.
