Are you a Teaching Assistant or Learning Support Assistant with experience working with ASD & early years?

HR GO Education NW are pleased to be working with a specialist ASD school in Skelmersdale who are looking to recruit a special need Teaching Assistant or Learning Support Assistant for their early years department. This role involves working with small groups or individual children with ASD, PMLD and communication difficulties.

The children needing support range from reception to Year 1 and some have multiple learning difficulties and display some challenging behaviours. Working on specific targets and keeping daily records of progress and next steps is essential and must be fed back to the class teacher on a daily basis

The school is a one form entry and resides in a lovely rural area. The children have access to Forest School provision so some outdoor activities may be required. The role of the teaching assistant/learning support assistant will be needed Monday to Friday, 8.30am-3.30pm.

This school requires an energetic and experienced TA/LSA. They have a very proactive and hands on curriculum which requires energy and passion from the right candidates.
