Job Role - Classroom Teaching assistant
HRGO Education are looking for Teaching Assistants to work with children aged 4 - 16. This role will see you working in a mainstream secondary school with the goal of helping these young students with complex social, emotional & behaviour needs receive the best standard of education possible.
As a teaching assistant you'll work on a group or one-to-one basis with students.
Your job role will include:
It may be an advantage to have professional qualifications or training in areas such as health, psychology, education, guidance, or youth or social work.
You will need to demonstrate a good standard of general education, and you will need Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) clearance.

Pay & Working Hours
Sessions or relief teaching assistants are typically paid between £9.50 and £11.50 per hour. Income figures are intended as a guide only.
This is role will either be a 12 week contract then a permanent contract, or for the right candidate, permanent straight away.
Full-time Teaching Assistants usually work between 32 & 35 hours per week. Starting the school day at 8.30am and finishing at 3.30pm with a 30 minute lunch break.
All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position, but it may become permanent at a later date upon school discretion.
