HR GO Education are currently looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated, permanent KS3 Teacher for a wonderful all-aged SEND school based in Camberwell!

A fantastic teacher possesses many key qualities; enthusiasm, commitment and confidence are only just a few to name! The ideal candidate we are seeking will, not only have these qualities, but have exceptional leadership skills - able to effectively maintain a classroom by directing the team/support staff whilst ensuring that they can plan and deliver excellent classroom practice.

The KS3 Teacher we are looking for will not only be able to demonstrate effective, prior experience in a teaching role but also show successful class teaching of pupils with SEND; with a clear understanding of autism and how lessons can be adapted to suit the needs of the pupils. The candidate will also have to be able to communicate clearly and confidently to pupils who find communication a barrier to their learning.

Working alongside a team of supportive and dedicated staff, you will have the opportunity of becoming a part of the fantastic community - maintaining the schools vision to deliver independence and better communication for the pupils and ensuring that they are healthy, happy and safe!

Requirements:

• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Hold an Enhanced DBS (can be obtained through HRGO)
• Experience of teaching - not necessarily KS3 as those working in Primary schools who wish to move into SEND are encouraged to apply!
• Experience of teaching pupils with SEND - demonstrate a clear understanding of additional needs.
• Be able to plan and deliver lessons that cater to the needs of all pupils
• A confident classroom presence; comfortable managing support staff and the class.
• Someone who is patient, resilient but above all enthusiastic about the role.
