A Support Worker position has become available for a Trust on the outskirts of Ashford. Applicants must have a full clean driving licence, that you have held for at least a year, and be 21 or over, due to insurances. No qualifications or care experience is required, but you will be required to undertake the Care Certificate, and mandatory training.

You will be supporting residents (service users) with both physical and learning disabilities and complex learning needs living in a residential care setting, in all aspects of their day to day lives and work, by promoting opportunities to develop a lifestyle that supports their individual needs and choices, promotes Independence and encourages fulfilment of personal goals. You will support residents (service users) in developing and maintaining life skills as appropriate and personal safety including transition training to other homes where appropriate.

Hours will be 162.5 hours a month, based on a mixed shift rota which includes days, long days, awake nights and sleep ins.
