Service Manager - Medical Devices - (Ophthalmic)

Leading, established international medical device company is seeking an experienced and dynamic Service Manager to lead their Service Department, overseeing service contracts, breakdowns, and repair provisions for all products and services provided by the Company. The Service Manager will play a crucial role in integrating strategies and driving business growth opportunities within the Service Division.
Key Responsibilities:
- Team Leadership: Provide support and leadership to the Service Team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
- Service Delivery: Ensure excellent service delivery to customers, meeting and exceeding their expectations.
- Revenue Targets: Work towards achieving monthly revenue targets by effectively managing service contracts and ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Business Growth: Identify and pursue new business opportunities, collaborating with the sales and marketing teams to expand the customer base.
- Key Performance Indicators (KPIs): Monitor and achieve key performance indicators related to service delivery and business growth.
- Regulatory Compliance: Collaborate with the Regulatory Department to ensure that all regulatory requirements are met.
- Travel: The position requires travel within the UK to oversee service operations and build relationships with clients.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Experience: Proven experience in managing service departments, preferably in the medical devices industry.
- Management/Leadership: Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
- Analytical Skills: Good data analytical and reporting skills to assess service performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Business Development: Demonstrated ability to identify and capitalise on new business opportunities.
- Technical Proficiency: Excellent IT and technical skills, with a solid understanding of medical devices.
- Ophthalmology Experience: Experience in ophthalmology would be advantageous.
