Job Vacancy - Self-employed Land Agent/Agricultural Consultant

We require additional self-employed Estate Agents Land agent/Agricultural adviser to expand the team.

We are seeking highly motivated, ambitious individuals

Areas covered: Ayrshire and Lanark, Dumfries and Galloway, Cumbria, The Borders, Northumbria.

This is a commission-only (Self-employed) role offering uncapped earning potential, and a genuine opportunity to earn in excess of £75000 per year with direct exposure to the luxury property market.

This is a front line challenging and responsible role.

This role is for individuals who want more than a salary - people who are hungry for success, comfortable with performance-based income, and ready to put in the work to achieve exceptional results.

You will be expected to meet new and existing clients, take instructions, advise them accurately and be responsible for their business instruction from start to finish.

We deal with a broad spectrum of matters including:

  • BP
  • Grant application
  • Regulatory compliance
  • Landlord and tenant
  • Compensation claims
  • Farm forestry
  • Agricultural planning
  • Tenant amnesty
  • Sales and valuation

The successful applicant must have a good all-round knowledge of government support schemes and regulations (either Scottish or English). Expertise in all areas of our work is not necessary as your duties can be tailored to your expertise with ongoing career development.

RICS membership is beneficial but not essential. All relevant degrees or professional qualifications will be given fair consideration. A friendly outgoing personality, drive and motivation and a conscientious attitude are essential.

You will be joining a friendly, supportive and vibrant team in a growing business. We have a modern office equipped with the latest technology based in Longtown with a very large client base.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Representing premium and luxury residential properties
  • Building and managing relationships with buyers, sellers, and investors
  • Conducting property viewings and client meetings
  • Generating leads and following up with prospective clients
  • Negotiating offers and supporting transactions through to completion
  • Building your personal brand within the luxury property space
