Quality Engineers opportunity in this large, rapidly expanding aerospace manufacturing company. As the senior quality person on site you will play a key part in strengthening quality standards and improving business efficiency through structured continuous improvement. This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to grow their influence and role. Working closely with Production and Engineering, owning problem-solving activities, and developing toward leading audits and wider quality initiatives as the business expands.

Job Purpose
To support and drive the business in improving quality standards and efficiency by promoting continuous improvement activities, helping to ensure the consistent delivery of high-quality products and services to customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support production teams in meeting delivery and quality targets

  • Support MRB (Material Review Board) meetings

  • Manage NCRs (Non-Conformance Reports) end-to-end

  • Facilitate NCR investigations with production and engineering

  • Perform RCCA (Root Cause & Corrective Actions) using tools such as 8D and 5Y

  • Manage customer returns and implement effective corrective actions

  • Carry out concession activities

  • Ensure equipment is calibrated and calibration records are maintained across the business

  • Support continuous improvement initiatives

  • Carry out internal audits

  • Support and potentially lead external audit activities

  • Fully comply with Company Policies, including Health & Safety at all times

Requirements:

  • ISO, AS or NADCAP based quality system knowledge

  • Relevant education and/or experience within quality/engineering/manufacturing

  • Strong IT skills and confident using standard software packages

  • Highly organised and process-oriented, with a logical and pragmatic approach

  • High attention to detail and accuracy

  • Persistent problem-solver, comfortable working to deadlines

  • Excellent communication skills (verbal, written and listening)

  • Able to build productive relationships across teams and with customers

  • Quick to learn and apply new information, processes and systems

  • Self-motivated and confident
