Quantity Surveyor

£35,000 - £50,000 a year - Full-time, Permanent

Respected, established family run flooring contractor who predominantly works within the construction industry for many of the large main contractors; are looking for efficient and motivated person with Quantity Surveying experience to work at their office located just outside Bishop's Stortford.

This is working within a small, friendly team, assisting in the day to day management of the business.

Responsibilities and duties will include:

• Managing multiple contracts at once from point of order to final account including preparing interim valuations and final accounts, instructions and variations.
• Maximise cash flow through the control, measurement (including quality) and valuation of work, and the invoicing of customers and payment of suppliers.
• Managing material take offs from drawings and quantifying materials needed for the project.
• Reviewing new orders in preparation for directors sign off.
• Credit control on all contracts & managing retentions.
• Producing monthly debtors/creditors reports for the directors.

This is a fantastic, long term opportunity well suited to a local Quantity Surveyor.

Salary Guide: £35,000 - £50,000 per year

Experience:

Quantity Surveyor: all levels considered.

Education:

Qualifications in Quantity Surveying
Bachelor's (Preferred)
