The Innovations Team design and manufacture their pioneering Bio-Processors in-house and deliver bespoke recycling systems across the UK.
They are looking for a professional and hardworking individual to join their team as Purchasing Stock Controller to buy and manage all the stock for my clients Bio-Processors. You must be self-motivated and willing to take ownership of the company's stock control system and implement and control internal purchasing processes.
Negotiating terms and conditions with Suppliers
Following and developing the company's procurement policies and procedures
Sourcing raw materials from suppliers
Preparing schedules for the purchase of raw material, PPE and other Miscellaneous items required
Managing inventories and maintaining accurate purchase and pricing records
Maintaining the supplier database, purchase records and related documentation
Coordinate with production department/technical department on stock requirements and make purchases accordingly
Ensure that all procured items meet the required quality standards and specifications with the help of production team
Raising Purchase orders on the system and making necessary GRN on system to receive the goods
Doing monthly stock counts and reconciling the same with system stocks
Experience as a purchaser and stock controller within manufacturing sector ideally with knowledge of capital equipment
Strong written and verbal communication skills, confidence communicating at all levels
Strong negotiation skills
Proficient in Microsoft office service systems
Detailed knowledge of inventory and supply chain management
Ability to work independently
£26,000 - £28,000 Per Annum, depending on experience Office based
Expected start date: ASAP
