Hours: Days Monday - Friday Salary: £40,000-£45,000 per annum
Job Summary We are seeking an experienced production manager to lead our on-site manufacturing operations in Wirral Working closely with the Factory Supervisor, you will manage day-to-day production activities, drive continuous improvement, and ensure products are produced safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards. You will play a key role in meeting delivery schedules and optimising productivity across the shop floor.
Experience / Person Specification Required:
Proven experience in a production management role within a manufacturing environment.
Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of production machinery and processes.
Demonstrable track record of leading continuous improvement initiatives.
Proficient in SAP (or a similar ERP system) for production and inventory management.
Solid experience of quality control processes and working to defined standards.
Desirable:
Formal engineering or manufacturing qualification.
Experience of lean manufacturing or similar improvement methodologies.
