Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer / Supervisor

£14.00 - £15.00 p/hr, Overtime at time and a half

Days, No Shifts, Lunchtime Finish On A Friday

Multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer with some supervisory experience is required by long established and respected engineering manufacturing company to cover site maintenance and breakdowns.

This interesting and varied "hands on" role is working with various engineering machinery, following monthly maintenance schedules and fixing breakdowns. Both electrical and mechanical skills and experiences are required.

You will have significant experience working with most of the following and be willing to learn and train in the others:

• Various site machinery. I.E Machine Shop Mills / Lathes / Drills - Sheet-Metal & Fabricating machines including hand tools, polishers, heaters etc.
• Assembly equipment.
• Electrics.
• Plumbing.
• Modern manufacturing methods.
• A can-do attitude.

City & Guilds Qualifications / Apprentice in Engineering would be an advantage.

Applicants need to be very flexible as they are also required to cover general facilities maintenance around the site including other duties as required such as painting and decorating.

Rate Guide: £14.00 - £15.00 p/hr, Overtime at time and a half

Working hours, 39-hour week.
Monday - 7.30 am - 4.00 pm
Tuesday - 7.30 am - 4.30 pm
Wednesday & Thursday - 7.30 am - 5.00 pm
Friday - 7.30 am - 12.00 noon

Location: In the Sandy - St. Neots - Cambourne area.
