Own transport required due to location Skilled Metal Polisher / Fettler / Deburrer / is required by successful specialist, long established engineering manufacturing Company. This interesting and varied "hands on" role is working in building food processing machinery in Stainless steel. The role is working in a small polishing department of 7 metal polishing engineers. Candidate must have significant experience in polishing and fettling and various metal finishes. (Satin / Mirror / shot blast / scotch-bright) Duties will include: * Polishing of stainless steel metal components to clean finishes. * Polishing out weld seams. * Fettling, Grinding, Deburring. * Liaise with Production Manager to ensure jobs are completed on time. * Read, understand and be able to work from drawings. * Clean and maintain work area and equipment. * Use various hand tools. * Operate within safety guidelines and any operating procedures. Skills Required: * Significant experience in using Sanders, Air Saws, Electrical Hand Grinders and standard hand tools. * Able to read Engineering drawings. * Worked in a similar role previously. Rate Guide: £10.00 - £12.00 p/hr, Overtime at time and a half. - Good hours available Working hours, standard week - 39 hour week. Monday - Friday: Start time 7:30am. Early Midday finish on a Friday.
