Our Harlow based client is a global expert Medical Device company at the forefront in design, development, and manufacturing of unique medical devices. They are seeking a Team Leader /Supervisor within production environment to work daytime 40 hours (no shifts ) on a Monday to Friday basis (with a early Friday ) Job Duties: * Maintain high level of leadership communication with production team staff. * Develop a high performance work team with influencing worker morale, satisfaction, and improved performance within a fast paced pressurised environment .. * Help production staff succeed through performance management. Provide coaching and performance communication to support development. * Ensure the desired product quality levels are achieved through use of standard work and training to those standards, training in operation and inspection techniques, * Support and foster an environment of continuous improvement by encouraging production staff to challenge existing processes and implement solutions that enhance the overall effectiveness of the operation. * Support production staff in understanding company policies and practices. * Maintain time and production records. * Communicate with and listen to production staff on a daily basis regarding work team performance, strategic initiatives, policy changes, safety, quality, etc. Qualifications: * 2-5 years of comparable manufacturing operations industry experience. * Ability to manage large team 30 to 50 ++ workforce including temporary staff uplift * Strong leadership skills, * Ability to work effectively within a team in a fast-paced changing environment. * Strong verbal and written communications. Salary £24000 pa with 25 days holiday
