HRGO are currently recruiting for a Maintenance Technician for their client in Ashford.

This is a wide and extremely varied role. The role requires initiative and excellent practical skills, preferably with experience in working with Steel and Wood. Work will be predominantly outdoors and will require a positive attitude to working in all weather conditions. This is a customer facing role and therefore good communication skills will be essential.

You must drive due to location and requirements of this role.

Hours:

Mon - Fri, 0600 - 1800

Although based in Ashford, this is a National role, therefore early starts and occasional nights away will be required.

Pay:

£12.97ph
Overtime is paid for this role.

Requirements:

• Computer Literate
• Minor Welding Fabrication Skills
• Driving Licence
• Customer Service Skills
• General Problem Solving Skills
• Experience in a similar role

Duties:

• Conduct minor/simple site surveys
• Minor woodwork repairs and/or installations
• Paint, varnish etc touch up
• Minor Concrete/finishing repairs and replacement
• Assess complaints/faults and carryout adjustments and repairs as appropriate
• Maintaining records, completion of paper work and reporting accurately and in a timely fashion
• Identify areas that can be targeted to exploit new markets

A suitable company vehicle (light van or estate car) will be provided complete with a basic tool kit.

A smart appearance is crucial at all times and a company uniform will be provided.
