Are you looking for a Lead Business Consultant position in Melbourne? Do you have a strong understanding of the Digital Health and/or Medical Device markets and technologies with a track record of securing and delivering consulting services to clients? I'm recruiting for a leading technology consultancy with their own portfolio of businesses, who partner with world-leading organisations to help them create game-changing innovations to grow their business.
About the Company

In this role, you will work closely with the General Manager - Digital to proactively pursue opportunities with identified accounts. You will excel at developing compelling pitches and proposals to articulate benefit to the client and to win new business. Supporting the existing team, you will be able to independently take the lead on business development, primarily in the Australia / NZ region. You will lead efforts to articulate the business and strategic importance of digital projects, advising clients on the relative priority of product features and ensuring commercial success of their product. The role will involve negotiating terms and pricing with prospective/existing customers, securing strategic partnership initiatives and maintaining in-depth commercial awareness of the client's business. You will use your established networks to monitor competitive performance and to build upon your industry knowledge of economic trends and business needs.
Skills and experience
With typically 8 years of business development and management consulting experience in related industries, you will have:
* experience of developing digital product strategies, financially supported business cases and product road maps with commercial clients
* experience of conversing on business and commercial topics with C-level executives
* demonstrated experience of strategic sales approaches and understanding of different digital business models
* demonstrated experience in design thinking methods and exposure to agile software development and product management.
* previous experience in managing and leading teams is preferred
