Electrical Loom Assembler / Wire Person

Permanent Position

Hours: 39 per week: Monday to Thursday 0800 - 1700 & Friday 0800 - 1600

Salary: £23,322 pa. (Equivalent to £11.50 p/hr)

Location: Buntingford, Herts

Electrical Loom Assembler / Wire Person is required by established industry leader who manufactures automotive electrical products.

This role is available immediately on a permanent basis paying £23,322 pa. (Equivalent to £11.50 p/hr).

As the Electrical Loom Assembler / Wire Person, the successful candidate will be working from electrical drawings to build wiring looms to order. Cables will need to be picked from the stores, cut to size and assembled into harnesses. Knowledge with electrical cabling and harness assembly is required.

Duties includes:

• Loom assembly, Harness assembly
• Reading electrical diagrams
• Picking cabling, cutting cables to length, terminating, soldering and wiring sockets or connectors on
• Assemble kits according to defined specifications
• Mechanical and Electrical Assembly

Skills Required:

• Electro-mechanical or mechanical assembly experience
• Read / Understand Engineering / schematic diagrams - Desirable
• Electrical wiring or panel wiring experience or similar - Desirable
