Digital Web Developer

This role will be based from a stunning Central London office location when possible

Salary: £35,000 + Bonus

The Web Developer will be responsible for supporting our client's existing online infrastructure, as well as the development of new digital communications applications and websites. The web developer will update and maintain the existing websites to ensure they keep up with user-experience, rich-media, technology and RWD principles, as well as assisting on the production of new sites and applications for future events.

The Web Developer will assist project teams with technical issues in the planning phase of all digital projects, including the definition of needs, benefits, and technical strategy; research & development within the project life-cycle; technical analysis and design; and support of operations staff in executing, testing and rolling-out the solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Solution design, coding, delivery and testing of web-based technical solutions

• Assist on performing complete quality assurance testing of web applications and bug fixing

• Maintain and enhance existing web applications and associated internal systems

• Manage the delivery of assigned sprint tasks and troubleshoot issues as they arise

Experience: Essential

• Experience in ASP.NET, C#, SQL Server, JavaScript, CSS and HTML

• Understanding of back end development and integration with front end design

• Knowledge and understanding of coding best practice

• Possesses good knowledge of classes, components, objects, and interfaces

Experience: Desirable

• Experience in developing Kentico MVC sites or with other .Net CMS platforms

• Knowledge of Azure Web Apps and DevOps

• Experience in working with project management tools (Trello, Wrike, Slack, etc.)

• Understanding of Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics
