A super position has become available with a forward thinking, state of the art production and manufacturing business near Holt.

The role will involve you being responsible for the running of your shift in the dispatch chill store and the smooth running of its day to day activities during your shift presence.

Duties & Responsibilities

  1. To manage your shift, you will be expected to be hands-on and will have a team of pickers reporting into you.
  2. You will be responsible for the running of your shift in the despatch chill store and the smooth running of its day to day activities during your shift presence.
  3. Picking raw materials and servicing the factory of its raw materials (product, sauces) against the Work Orders request in the plan and on time.
  4. Collection of finished products from the factory back to the despatch store.
  5. Collection of raw materials from production (product, sauces) back to the coldstore site.
  6. In conjunction with the Customer Services team, co-ordinating the booking in of transport to collect the finished product from dispatch - accepting ad scheduling transport bookings.
  7. Ensuring he smooth running of despatch; registering and storing finished product in from production, picking customer orders and labelling pallets for dispatch with the appropriate paperwork, loading vehicles and dispatching orders, complete accurate stock taking and cycle counting required and issue paperwork to the transport drivers to accompany orders.
  8. The work will involve both an element of manual recording, computer inputting and system paperwork generation.
  9. You will be expected to have an up to date forklift truck counterbalance and reach truck driving licence
  10. There may be on occasions that you will be required to work within other areas of the Warehouse and Logistics department to support the operation of the business.
  11. Meet all Food Safety and Health and Safety responsibilities

£24k per annum

2pm to 10pm shift Monday to Friday.
