HRGO are seeking Customs Clearance Clerks for our established and reputable Client based in the Dover area. Good analytical and excellent organisational skills are essential, and you must work in a methodical manner and be able to respond effectively to enquiries. This role will suit candidates that are experience in clearance and declarations.
Duties Include
Calculating Duty / VAT cost for each consignment
Processing Import/Export declarations
Keeping up to date with changes in regulations, laws and customs procedures
Processing all customs documentation
Dealing with general enquiries from importers / exporters concerning all areas, relating to Customs Procedures, Tariff Classifications and Duty Rates
