Working Hours: Monday to Thursday - 08:00 to 16:30, Friday - 08:00 to 15:30

About the Company

Our client is a well-established manufacturing business, specialising in precision engineering solutions. With a strong reputation for quality and innovation, they are now looking to grow their team with the addition of an experienced CNC Machinist.

The Role

We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist with a background in both manual and semi-automatic machine operations. You'll be programming and operating CNC machinery using FSM, FAPT, and XYZ Siemens systems, working to tight tolerances to produce high-quality components.

Key Responsibilities

  • Set up and operate CNC machines (Semi Auto/Manual).
  • Programme machines using FAPT and CNC FSM systems.
  • Operate and programme using XYZ Siemens controls.
  • Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and sketches.
  • Perform routine maintenance and troubleshoot minor issues.
  • Monitor output for quality and make real-time adjustments as needed.
  • Work collaboratively to meet deadlines and production targets.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organised work environment.

Skills & Experience Required

  • Proven experience in CNC machining (manual/semi-auto).
  • Proficient in CNC FSM and FAPT programming.
  • Confident using XYZ Siemens control systems.
  • Strong interpretation of technical drawings and specs.
  • High attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Able to work independently and within a team.
  • Strong focus on health, safety, and continuous improvement.
