About the Company
Our client is a well-established manufacturing business, specialising in precision engineering solutions. With a strong reputation for quality and innovation, they are now looking to grow their team with the addition of an experienced CNC Machinist.
The Role
We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist with a background in both manual and semi-automatic machine operations. You'll be programming and operating CNC machinery using FSM, FAPT, and XYZ Siemens systems, working to tight tolerances to produce high-quality components.
Key Responsibilities
Set up and operate CNC machines (Semi Auto/Manual).
Programme machines using FAPT and CNC FSM systems.
Operate and programme using XYZ Siemens controls.
Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and sketches.
Perform routine maintenance and troubleshoot minor issues.
Monitor output for quality and make real-time adjustments as needed.
Work collaboratively to meet deadlines and production targets.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organised work environment.
Skills & Experience Required
Proven experience in CNC machining (manual/semi-auto).
Proficient in CNC FSM and FAPT programming.
Confident using XYZ Siemens control systems.
Strong interpretation of technical drawings and specs.
High attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Able to work independently and within a team.
Strong focus on health, safety, and continuous improvement.
