• Job Title: Clothing Technologist

• Working hours/days: Monday to Friday 9am-5:30pm

HR GO Recruitment are looking for an enthusiastic and energetic character to join one of the distribution companies based in Leeds as a Clothing Technologist. The Company are a global business with a family heritage. The company supplies over 8000 products covering fancy dress, wigs and make up through a network of independent retailers, wholesale and direct to customer through a strong web presence.

The ideal candidate will be a confident assistant technologist or above with experience working within global supply chain.

You will be responsible for both own brand and customer accounts, supported by the Technical Manager.

General Duties of Clothing Technologist:

• Work within the design team to understand vision and concept of design.
• Fit samples and adjust where necessary.
• Manage comments and approvals.
• Communicating with customers, sample room and Asia supply base daily.
• Organising and running fit sessions with customers where applicable.

General Requirements of Clothing Technologist:

• Minimum 3 years' experience as an assistant technologist or above.
• Technical understanding of garment making/alteration and fit.
• Customer service focused.
• Competent IT skills.
• Driver's licence
• Ability to work under pressure accurately and timely.
