Classic Car Restorer / Bodywork Repairer (Restoration) Working on Prestigious Classic Sport Cars Basic Salary to £26,364 pa (to £13.00 p/hr) Located in the Cambourne area (Cambridgeshire) Own transport required due to location A great opportunity for a Classic Car Restorer; to join this specialised bespoke busy business that restores classic, prestigious sport cars. The Classic Car Restorer will remove and refit parts to facilitate vehicle body repairs. Candidates will need to be skilled in car body restoration including welding, metal fabrication, accident repair and alignment of body panels prior to fitting. You will be required to carry out duties and full body renovations to a high standard. This will include repairing bodywork, the preparation of vehicles for paint, spray, painting bodywork, the removal and re-fitment of trims prior to and post paintwork, polishing new and old paintwork. Skills required: * Dismantling to rebuilding. * Welding and fabrication. * Panel beating. * Body repairing. * Strip and fitting * Preparation and paint work * Re-spraying. * Other related tasks as required. We require applicants to be versatile and willing to tackle all areas of bodywork restoration. The ideal candidate must have previous industry experience a good attention to detail. Qualifications: NVQ levels or equivalent Qualification or time served experience is required. Applicants must be able to work to exceptional standards and take pride in what you do. The Classic Car Restorer will be working in a close team of 2 skilled mechanics. Hours: 39 hour per week, working Monday to Friday. Start time: 07.30am, early finish on a Friday at mid-day. There is occasional overtime to meet completion dates and is paid at time and a half. Location in the Cambourne area Commutable from: Royston - Biggleswade - St. Neots - Sandy - Cambridge- Bedford - St. Ives - Huntingdon areas.
