HRGO DRIVING ARE RECRUITING

We are looking for experienced, professional HGV/LGV1 (C+E licence) Class 1 drivers.

We are recruiting for a major wholesale company based at Crick, Northamptonshire with start times between 2300-0200 with the main shift patterns being Monday night/Tuesday morning to Friday night/Saturday morning. Additional shifts and days are available too.

An assessment will be performed but not immediately, you will be allowed to work prior to being assessed provided you fulfil the criteria for the role.

The contract delivers to stores and depots around the whole country and average shifts are around 11/12 hours.

To be successful, all applicants must have the following:

Full HGV1 C+E Class 1 licence held for at least 2 years.

A minimum of 6 months continuous experience of driving class 1 vehicles in the UK which can be referenced.

No more than 6 months on your licence. For insurance purposes we cannot accept the following endorsements irrespective of how many points were incurred for the offence: TT, IN, CD, DR, DD, BA

A Digital Tacho Card (Digicard) and DQC (CPC) Card

A good understanding of drivers hours and regulations

A good understanding of the working time directive

Excellent geographical knowledge of the UK road network

Flexible approach to work

Customer focused attitude

A willingness to learn and develop
