Business Development Manager
Location: Doncaster - Our lovely new Recruitment hub office.
Job Type: Full time/permanent
Salary: £40,000 - £45,000 per annum plus Car/Car Allowance & Excellent commission structure OTE £100K plus!
Your Mission
We are looking for a Business Development Manager to join our growing team in Doncaster, you MUST have recruitment industry experience to be considered for this role.
The role requires a strong focus on sales, client relationship management, and achieving growth targets.
Sales Strategy and Planning:
- Implement and lead the sales strategy locally, to drive business growth and meet and exceed your individual and team targets.
- Identify market trends, competitor activities, and new business opportunities to stay ahead in the industry.
- Manage recruitment consultants' performance against set sales targets.
Business Development
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, ensuring their ongoing satisfaction and repeat business.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop effective promotional materials and campaigns.
- Negotiate terms and conditions of recruitment contracts, including fees, payment terms, and exclusivity agreements.
Client Relationship Management:
- Act as the primary relationship manager for key clients that have 20-50+ workers, addressing their needs, resolving issues, and building long-term partnerships.
- Conduct regular client meetings to understand their staffing requirements and provide tailored solutions.
- Monitor client satisfaction and take proactive measures to maintain high levels of customer service.
Industry Knowledge and Networking:
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, recruitment best practices, and legal regulations.
- Attend industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to build a strong professional network and promote the agency's services
Team Management and Leadership
- Set direction and manage performance of Recruitment consultants in your team
- Support individuals in the team to achieve their targets through coaching and development
Background, Experiences and Skills
- Recruitment agency experience (temporary staff)
- Proven agency experience of selling medium size contracts into the SME space.
- Commercial acumen

- Need full, clean driving licence as travel will be required for this role.
