Position: Assistant Scheduler (Graduate)
Location: Deeside
Hours: Monday - Friday Office Hours (Early Finish on a Friday)
Salary: £24,000 - £27,000 P/A DOE
Contract: Initial 6-month Fixed Term
Due to growth and success, we are currently looking for an Assistant Scheduler to join our client based in Deeside.

About the role:
Purchasing raw materials and miscellaneous items as per clients' requirements. This includes on site consumables as well as 3rd party trade goods and products
Liaising with Production Manager and sales team daily to ensure order deadlines are met
Liaising with Production planner and sales team daily to ensure order deadlines are met
Work with the materials planner to ensure any spikes or anomalies in requirements are identified, planned, and managed effectively
Develop daily production plans for the site to enable effective inventory management and resource allocation
Communicate the local operational action plan
Identify shortcomings in existing production planning processes, systems, and procedures
Utilising SAP and Excel systems to run efficient and organised production plans/reports
Skills Required:
Preferable but not essential as would suit a graduate with a can-do attitude or a minimum of 2 year's experience within Planning and Scheduling: preferably within manufacturing
Good communication skills both verbally and written
Good working knowledge of Excel and SAP
Must be able to work on own initiative, under pressure and to meet specific deadlines
Should possess the organisational skills and ability to effectively manage short term finite scheduling and long-term forecasting of volume demand in a fast turn round environment
Flexible working approach to ensure daily workload is completed
