HRGO Recruitment are currently working with Northampton Borough Council for 2 Business Support Administrators to provide an effective, timely and accurate support to Operational teams working within the countywide and central services.
Salary: £10.43 an hour - 12 weeks but perm for the right person
Partially remote with couple days per week in the office in One Angel Square, NN1 1ED.
Main accountabilities:
- Receiving and processing contacts from schools and other agencies to meet the statutory criteria and carried out within defined timescales
- Monitoring the shared inboxes, receipting of payments within timescales, and also monitoring non-payment of Penalty Notice
- To provide a comprehensive, confidential range of effective and transparent business support to the localities operational teams
- To co-ordinate and manage the countywide and central team processes and systems in relation to communications and sharepoint, including mailbox monitoring and response
- To undertake a range of specific service functions as a key point of contact, as required by the operational team, for example, tracking and supporting the recruitment of Foster Carers, Providing administrative support for statutory process such a governance boards
- To deliver and support induction training for new staff in the countywide operational teams, ensuring effective training on local and corporate systems and requirements
- To support the countywide operational management team with the tracking of allocation and cases, including data and performance information support
- Works closely and jointly with the other service members as required to ensure continuity of support for Children Services and undertake other tasks as appropriate to the role to meet the needs of the business
Skills required
- Educated to GCSE standard or equivalent professional qualification or business experience- Maths and English Grade C or above
- Experience of working within a Business Support/ Administrative role supporting operational delivery
- Excellent numeracy, analytical, interpretative attention to detail.
- Competent in the use of IT
- Must be able to establish effective communication across myriad channels. Must have good written communication skills
