Due to our clients business expanding they are looking to recruit a Accountancy Practice Manager to help drive the business forward and manage the team. This is a part time job of 21 hours per week.
The successful candidate will have a recognised chartered accounting qualification or working towards this qualification, with experience of managing a small team, with a positive outlook, enthusiasm, motivational but able to give clear boundaries and expectations to the team. Along with managing the team you will also be required manage accounts and grow the business.

Provides honest, accurate and timely feedback to the team
Takes care of clients in a professional and friendly manner and manages their expectations on a consistent basis
Develops and maintains effective working relationships with clients and team members
Can identify opportunities to help with the growth of the business
Job description
Prepare and submit year end accounts to Companies House and corporation tax returns to HMRC for small businesses
Prepare and submit self-assessment tax returns for the self-employed and company directors
Prepare and submit VAT returns for small companies and sole traders
Process and submit payroll for small companies and directors
Create budgets
Prepare management accounts for small businesses
Prepare and perform client cash flow forecast meetings
Manage and oversee the work of the junior and senior bookkeepers
Help to refine process and procedures as the business grows

9am - 5pm
21 hours per week (ideally Tuesday, Wednesday Thursday)
