Shift Available:

• Friday to Sunday 6.00-14.00
• Friday to Sunday 14.00-22.00
• Friday to Sunday 22.00- 6.00

HR GO Recruitment are looking for customer orientated professional to join the team at Kent & Canterbury hospital as a temporary hospital porter. It is advantageous, but not essential, for the right candidates to have care worker or support worker background / experience due to the nature of this role.

Daily duties will include but are not limited to:

• Domestic duties - general upkeep of cleanliness of wards and communal areas
• Moving of patients and medical equipment including: beds, wheelchairs, medical machinery etc
• Disposal of hazardous waste
• Providing support to medical staff throughout the hospital
• Liaising with other members of the team, shift leaders and medical staff to ensure highest level of service

• Communicate sensitively with patients and their families
• Act calmly and quickly in emergencies
• Cope well with sickness, death and distress

• Awareness of health and safety procedures.
