Waste Operative

Shifts- 0600-1400 or 1400-2200

Start date 4/8/21

End date 5/10/21

Initial 2 months but role can be extended to 6 month and possibly extended duties (skip driving, FLT driving etc)

Hourly Pay rate- £11 PAYE

Objectives:

To safely carry out operations as prescribed under company working procedures to effectively collect, process, sort and generally manage the customers waste in accordance with the customers own stringent guidelines.

Key Task and

Responsibilities:

Ensure routine collection of waste from designated areas are processed in a safe and effective manner

Maintain good housekeeping and safe storage of all wastes

Assist in the removal from site of all waste materials thereby reducing stock build up

Assist in monitoring of safety of operations and all team members' compliance with operating instructions and requirements

Complete daily vehicle and weekly equipment check sheets

Routine liaison with Contract Manager or deputy on operational and safety aspects of work

Any specifics about the role

Must have possession of a Safety Passport

Needs to be reliable, self-motivated and follow instructions and be able to work on their own.

Safety aware and Ideally requires C1 on drivers licence for driving 7.5te box van
