Hrgo are seeking a Warehouse Operative for the Folkestone area. The Warehouse provides components to a factory. The Operatives are responsible for ensuring the correct handling and storage of both incoming and outgoing goods.

Regular duties include:

• To receive supplier component and finished goods deliveries, ensuring correctness of deliveries against the delivery documents.

• To ensure that there are no discrepancies in quantity and quality.

• To handle and locate stock accurately, ensuring no damages.

• To despatch components in a timely and correct manner, taking note of safe handling and loading procedures.

• To despatch finished goods as required to customers in a timely and correct manner, taking note of safe handling procedures, and to ensure that all shipments are made with correct documentation (including Export, if applicable) and to schedule.

• Ensure that the issue of components and finished goods is in line with the correct stock and batch rotation practice.

Education and experience required:

• Valid forklift license - Counterbalance and VNA.

• Experience of working in a Warehouse environment.

• Good communication skills.

• Ability to follow instructions and SOPs with an organised and methodical approach.

• Computer literate with experience of SAP an advantage.

You will be required to work a shift pattern of 12 hours, on a 4 day on, 4 day off shift pattern. The shift start times, are varied and staggered, commencing from 5am - 5pm to 8am - 8pm with breaks.
