A well established Logistics company based in Aylesford are recruiting for an experienced export customs team advisor to join their team.
Job Role -
Data entry into Customs systems, predominately for exports declarations and data entry for T1 Transit declarations from the UK, with the support of customs teams.
Checking documentations is correct and conforms to the required standard to be able to issue the declarations.
Scanning Documents into SAP and upload to the correct shipments.
Printing documents for the drivers for exports to EU & CH.
Data entry into control systems, to monitor and maintain Quality Assurance.
Supporting the customs teams with any other tasks.
Liaising with customs teams, warehouse and disposition teams to check and control shipments.
Supporting other teams should it be required.
The role is mainly data entry into customs systems.
Experience / Skills
Preferred experience within a transport or freight forwarder.
Preferred knowledge of export / road transport.
Basic understanding of HS Codes, Incoterms and customs export procedures would be good.
Good level of knowledge / proficiency with MS Office
Strong Data entry skills, high accuracy and attention to detail.
Monday to Friday 9am - 6pm
Office based role.
