Hrgo are seeking a Warehouse Operative for the Folkestone area. The Warehouse provides components to a factory. The Operatives are responsible for ensuring the correct handling and storage of both incoming and outgoing goods. Regular duties include: * To receive supplier component and finished goods deliveries, ensuring correctness of deliveries against the delivery documents. * To ensure that there are no discrepancies in quantity and quality. * To handle and locate stock accurately, ensuring no damages. * To despatch components in a timely and correct manner, taking note of safe handling and loading procedures. * To despatch finished goods as required to customers in a timely and correct manner, taking note of safe handling procedures, and to ensure that all shipments are made with correct documentation (including Export, if applicable) and to schedule. * Ensure that the issue of components and finished goods is in line with the correct stock and batch rotation practice. Education and experience required: * Experience of working in a Warehouse environment. * Numerate and literate. * Good communication skills. * Organised and methodical. * Ability to follow instructions and SOP. * Computer literate. * Valid VNA licence for all equipment is ideal. You will be required to work a shift pattern of 12 hours, on a 4 day on, 4 day off shift pattern. The shift start times are varied and staggered, commencing from 5am - 5pm to 8am - 8pm with breaks.
