VISUAL MERCHANDISER WITH STORE MANAGER EXPERIENCE We currently have a fantastic opportunity to work for a very successful high-end retail company to work in their concession in Harrods to Manage the overall look of the department along with some Store Manager experience. Areas of Accountability * Manage the overall look of the department on a daily basis * Manage the usage of point of sale and ensure branding is relevant and visible on the shop floor * Awareness of product availability and "Out of Stocks" * Manage the implementation of any planning/organisation for any special events * Maintain a high level of housekeeping at all times * Ensure all brands/products/styles are represented on the shop floor * Refresh displays to enhance the visual appearance of the department/walkway. * Identifying and sourcing props for displays * Execute merchandising and floor moves based on seasonal changes, business needs and trends * Create and install special displays to promote specific products or product lines * Implement and apply Visual Merchandise guidelines provided by individual brands * Ensure the store environment has a welcoming and luxurious feel * Maintain and increase the sales figures of the store/concession * Ensure that sales budgets/targets are communicated to staff and the progressive result of the store/concession * Ensure staff acknowledge customers quickly and offer friendly, courteous and efficient service * Accountable for overseeing any large customer transactions, including large customer orders over the phone * Be aware of competitor ranges and price points * Record and reports any missed opportunities * Ensure staff use and understand the 'Add on Sale' technique * Ensure that all staff has a thorough knowledge of all products * Confident in handling customer enquiries and complaints when required * Maintain staff discipline and carry out investigations as required * Ensures all store and company rules and standards are adhered to at all times by staff * Ensures that the daily brief is organised and actioned * To be able to carry out performance appraisals and follow up on any target set * Communicate any relevant company information to staff * Manage training of staff in Visual Merchandising standards and store standards * Establish a good understanding of health and safety policies of the store and ensure that staff uphold these policies Previous skills & experience * MUST have a minimum of 2 years VM experience * MUST have previous Retail Management experience * Confident in delegating to staff * High attention to detail * Remain calm under pressure * Ability to think on your toes * Flexibility Salary up to £26k + commission Location: Knightsbridge, London
