Transpot Supervisor / Service co-ordinator - Northampton

HRGO are recruiting for a permanent service coordinator in a busy transport office.

This is a supervisory level position and previous transport experience is crucial

The service coordinator is responsible for coordinating and controlling all aspects of service delivery in a safe and compliant manner, ensuring that you deliver a first-class customer experience. As a Service Coordinator, you will ensure Health and Safety is a priority on-site and at our customer's sites and all safety concerns, near misses and accidents, are logged on AVA in a timely manner, ensuring that the issue is addressed and relevant feedback is provided to the originator within 7 days.

What will you be doing?

Be compliant with all Health and Safety policies and procedures
Learn to oversee the day to day running of the traffic office
Be compliant with the Digital Tachograph procedure
Learn to Route in the most efficient and Legal way
Prepared to work towards CPC
Taking phone calls from customers requested services
Understand and develop the driver team
Complete drivers return to work interviews
Management of driver conduct issues such as file notes and first stage sickness reviews

Negotiable salary dependant on experience between £25-28k per annum with other benefits such as a 15% annual bonus.

Working hours are Monday to Friday 08:30 - 17:00
