We have a fantastic opportunity for a transport planner to work in a busy transport office in the Kent area. This exciting, yet challenging role is starting immediately. Ideally you will have experience within a transport office environment however this role would also suit someone from an office/customer service background. All About The Role: * Collate the hub collection and returns daily profile * Contact clients regarding client collection requirements * Upload collection requirements ready for planning * Agree the planned hub trunking legs and timings with the hubs * Liaise with Commercial management team regarding client requirements * Aid in the on-boarding of new clients into the network * Create the peak planning collection requirements * Report on the planning, hub transport and telematics performance adherence through KPI's * Confirm the stand trailer requirements at clients and hubs All About You * Ability to work independently and within a team, * Experience of collating large amounts of data and * First class organisational skills * Ability to handle multiple client collection requests and channel the communication correctly * Understanding of supply chain and related processes * Data manipulation and modelling / costing techniques skills * Good Microsoft Office skills, including Ms Excel and preferably Ms Access Monday to Friday 8am til 6pm To apply please call 01634 825580 and ask for Henry.
