Position: Technical Quotations

Location: Holywell

Hours: Monday - Thursday 08:15 - 17:00 and Friday 08:15 - 16:00

Salary £25,000-£26,000 DOE

Overview:

We are currently looking for an experienced technical quotations specialist to join our busy estimating team, to provide high volume quotations and solutions; technical, specification and applications advice with a focus on providing a professional, high quality service to our customers by utilising in-depth knowledge of company products and systems.

The ideal candidate will have experience within a similar role, ideally within the construction industry but not essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ability to process dimensional "Take Off" from Architectural plans.
  • Produce a high volume of quotations for customer requests in all forms. Requests will be received via phone or email.
  • Liaise with customers offering advice and solutions to queries.
  • Reporting customer feedback to management on any aspect of quotation, price, delivery to allow us to continually monitor our competitiveness in the market.
  • Enter project and specification information into our project tracking system - Sales Force.
  • Issue estimates / quotations via our in house Easy Order technical quotation software, ensuring accurate and detailed interpretation of customer requirements, within our tight KPI timeframe for return of quotation.
  • Liaise with multiple colleagues and departments to ensure stocks and production space are available for customer requirements.
  • Ensuring accuracy of quotation against order received. This quotation once accepted will then be electronically transferred into our SAP system for order process. 100% accuracy is essential.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers by providing excellent customer service.

The successful candidate will possess the following skills, qualifications, and experience:

  • Excellent PC skills and proficient in Microsoft office.
  • Knowledge of various types of cladding systems used on both roof and wall applications.
  • 2+ years of CAD experience.
  • Ability to process dimensional "Take Off" from architectural plans.
  • A high level of technical experience in the application of construction products.

Experience working to KPI's.

  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
  • The ability to be highly organised with excellent administration, negotiation and problem-solving

Skills.

  • The ability to manage complex projects to strict deadlines and to remain calm under pressure.
  • The ability to work well as part of a team.
