Job Title: Technical Engineering Manager Location: Nr Huntingdon Salary: 40-50K depending on experience Do you have a degree or higher education qualification in engineering? Experience working within a high pressure fast paced environment. Do you have a minimum of 5 years experience managing an engineering department within manufacturing? * My client is looking for strong Leadership and management skills * A good understanding of Manufacturing processes and procedures * Previous experience of working with CAD * Desirable - knowledge of lean manufacturing Responsibilities will include: Manage the day to day requirements of the engineering team, providing support and guidance Promote and implement continuous improvement. To monitor/manage the preventative maintenance process to maximise equipment reliability Work with the Manufacturing Manager to ensure machines are efficient and fully utilised Ensure safe systems of work are in place and the Engineering team are trained and compliant. Manage and advise on health and safety matters Assist in implementing new equipment ensuring we maximise manufacturing capabilities in a fully efficient process flow Train and develop engineering team Provide engineering support to all departments Manage projects, to ensure they are completed within the planned costs, timescale and budget.
