Technical Director - Civil & Marine Are you a Team Leader or Associate ready to step up into a Technical Director role..? Do you want to be responsible for taking a leading role in the successful delivery of major civil and port and harbour projects across the UK..? If so, we have the perfect role for you! About the Role They are seeking a Technical Director to join the Civil / Maritime Team based in the Belfast office. This is a strategic role supporting the Director and you will be responsible for taking a leading role in the successful delivery of some of the most significant civil, port and harbour projects across the UK. Supervising a team of Engineers and overseeing the design of a range of maritime and civil structures, this challenging role will also require you to manage the procurement of civil engineering contracts. This is an opportunity to take the lead in client management and project delivery and assist the Director in the general administration of the Team, managing the workload utilisation associated with project delivery. About You Suitable candidates will possess a degree in Civil or Structural Engineering and have achieved Chartered Engineer status with ICE, IEI, IStructE or equivalent. With a wealth of experience designing civil engineering structures that includes delivering significant projects with substantial client interface. Understanding delivery on time will be second nature to you and you need to be experienced enough to foresee problems before they arise. You will enjoy face to face client engagement and be comfortable in a role that places greater emphasis on team management and project management. The Belfast office employs over 200 staff and has been providing services to the UK and Ireland for the past 70 years.
